The Illuminata series
Illuminata is an exploration into theolgy. Tenets such as "Ex Nihilo" and "Original Sin" quickly crumble when viewed in the context of comparative mythology. For instance, "Ex Nihilo" means " created out of nothing", bet anyone who works in a creative process intrinsically understands that something is always created out of the essence of itself. The energy of a created universe could never have been nothing, as Nothing cannot create itself. These are meant to be viewed as illuminated paintings. They are mostly guache, watercolor and felt tip pens, and the gold background is liquid gold leaf. The originals are in private collections, but the designs are available as Greeting Cards.
On Demons: Demons are generally viewed as some monstrous, evil powers, yet on closer inspection one may find that they are actually small, rather cute, and just passing through.
On Creation: (creativity, specifically) Life, all life, emerges from a protean source, the Source that has no name. Creation is eternal, spawning and devouring that which must be born and that, which must die. The tricky part is knowing which is which.
"Original sin" is merely a reference to living in ignorance. It is ignorance that keeps the karmic cycle moving, and it is the fruit of Divine Knowledge that provides nourishment for evolution, and, ultimately, perfection.
Vision of Hildegaard Dreams and Visions are glimpses beyond the dense earthly plane into the place we know as Home.

Hildegaard Von Bingen was well known for her divinely inspired visions. Her first ones appeared as egg-shaped shpheres; later they took globe-forms. This work is a meditation on multi-dimentional experience. I named it Hildegaard, as she represents one of the last visionaries to be taken seriously.
The Sacred Feminine Wisdom is part and parcel of the World Tree. Eve did not sin when she ate of the Fruit; Adam, however was the one who took something that he wasn't entitled to. Original Sin originated with him.
The Serpent symbolizes consciousness; that nebulous place where the creative process takes form. The relationship between the Creative and Knowledge - this is the Tree of Life.
